For tonight's screening, we watched Charlie Chaplin's "Tramp" character in The Gold Rush. I was another "silent" film, accompanied only by music. I t was entertaining, funny, sad, scary, heartbreaking, heartwarming, and at times, downright ridiculous. Chaplin has been known for his knack of bringing out his character through his lively movements and facial expressions. Here's a trailer:
