Functional Analysis - Examining a student's inappropriate behaviour as well as its antecedents and its consequences to determine the function(s) that behaviour might serve a student.

After identifying purpose, provide alternate for the student to achieve it.

* Directly teach designed behaviour.
* Consistently reinforce desired behaviour.
* Have a predictable routine.
* Provide frequent opportunities for choice.
* Adaptation is the key to success.
