One of my most major academic challenges is essay writing. I hate essays. I enjoy writing, but I enjoy writing what I want, when I want to do it. Right now I have to write a socio-cultural essay on two versions of the same film, on top of a 1500-word paper on zombies in a certain novel. I HATE ZOMBIES. They're pointless and unremarkable, and I cannot think of anything noteworthy to write about zombies that hasn't already been written. But what I think and what I want does not matter. The teacher has a curriculum to teach and I have a grade to make.
From now on, I will resolve to finish an assignment NO LATER than the night before it is due. To do that, however, I will need to learn how to effectively stay up late and write a good essay in a short period of time.

I will try what I read and write a post on how well it works, or not.
