Opening

Three things I now know about educational psychology:

  1. All children want to feel like their school journey is worthwhile.
  2. All children want to feel like they are cared about, not just for their academic performance, but for their identities and interests.
  3. People can learn anything at any age, from anyone, in any place. We never stop learning.
I have some predetermined philosophies about the psychology of education, but there are a few things I would like to take from this class, including how to optimize the learning experience every single day, how to deal with trouble-makers, and how to get students to give me respect and attention without trying too hard.
